Had my GBS and internal and those are my stats. I'm doing a happy dance because I've been convinced I'm going to have this baby late, even though DS was a couple days early. Watch me go overdue anyway! :P

WooHoo!! I had DS 5 days early and was checked earlier that week, I was not dilated or effaced at all. If I were you I would be doing the happy dance too. Hopefully you'll go a few days early just like you did with your DS. I can't wait to hear from you when you do go into labor though!! Just a couple more weeks.

That's about what I was with DD at 37 weeks. Ended up having her about 5 days early.

I'm very curious to see if that does mean you'll go early! I was 1cm dilated and 25% effaced, -1 position at my first internal last Wednesday. The doctor said that was really good, particularly for a FTM, and he fully expects that baby will probably be a week early, and would be surprised if I go all the way to my due date.

I've been operating under the assumption that baby would go a week late, so this news was a little shocking to me, but I've also heard that it's really a crapshoot when it comes to measuring progress prior to labor. I guess we'll see!

I was 2cm and 50% at my 36 week appt last week! I had more of a "holy crap this is real, i'm gonna have a baby in a few weeks" realization rather than happy dance though lol. I'm anxious to find out if anything has changed at my appt on Wednesday. But congrats to you! (:

I know it doesnt mean anything and you could still be a week late, but at this point, ANY glimmer of hope that I can get my body back even a few days early is what keeps me going everyday! Id be happy dancing all day! good luck.

Yay! I would be doing the happy dance if I was in your place. I am hoping LO decides to pop up as soon as I hit full term because if he doesn't I am looking at a very large baby and a doctor that is trigger happy when it comes to c-sections.

Exactly. I'm not counting on going early for sure, but I would LIKE to. Definitely not wanting to go late... but like I said, I have this fear that I will. I agree though- just any glimmer of hope is what helps get me through since I feel like I am just done with this!

I may be the only one hoping, no PRAYING, I go till my due date. It is simply because I don't want to have to go back to work before January. I am taking 12 weeks and anything before Oct 6th has be going back before Jan 2nd.

Hopefully that means you will go early!!!! Yippy! But keep in mind people walk around like that sometimes for the last month too boo! My SIL was 2cm 50% for 3 weeks before having her LO a few days late! SHe was so upset cause she thought it was going to happen right when she found out how far along she aready was!! BUT BUT BUT this is your second kid! So thats a BIG plus and added factor! COME OUT COME OUT BABY!!!
