I am going to preface this with it's a stupid question, but I have no idea what comes after onsies. My DS & DD are still in diapers, but we are beginning to potty train, so I want them to be able to pull their pants up and down and not have to worry about the snaps on onsies. I've seen the gerber t-shirts, but they only go up to 24 months, so I'm wondering do you put a t-shirt on under their clothes or just not bother with anything?
Re: after onsies
DD only wears onesies for bed when it's hot out. She hasn't been wearing them during the day time since the beginning of summer when she started wearing dresses. Once it gets cold again, we'll probably layer her clothes, but just with a regular tshirt under a sweater or something, like I would wear.
My DS still uses under-shirts, and he is 5. But yo, during the winter, it can get cold up in here! I get him the plain white t-shirts/vests from Wal-mart...like 6 bucks for 3 shirts. My DD will be in onesies until she grows out of them. At that point, i will get the girlie under-shirts
I am pretty sure that they sell T-shirts in all sizes. Try a different brand.
We stopped using onesies very early on. I always hated them. We haven't had to use anything else yet because of the summer weather, but I will probably buy some plain T-shirts for the winter.
