I just spent $90 on socks

I need an intervention...seriously.  The baby clothes are SO cute, and online shopping is addicting.  I dont remember there being so many cute clothes with DS1, but I just ordered 18 pair of adorable socks that look like shoes.  In my defense, DS1 didnt wear socks all that much because he was born in June.  THIS is what happens when you plan in advance and have all loose ends tied up WAY before baby comes.

    Ohmigosh! Click cancel order....$90 on 18 pairs of socks is crazy. That's $5 a pair lol! I bought 6 pairs of socks that look like shoes at Beall's Outlet for $9. And even that seemed crazy to me but I had a gift card lol!

    Whoa...seriously?  While I admit I got caught up in the cuteness of these little bitty socks, and knew I was buying TOO many, I had no clue that they were that overpriced!  Bonus of diapers.com is that its free to send anything back to them.  Naturally, I'm going to have to wait to see them to send them back :)

    Are those Trumpette socks?
    I love them, LO has few of them and I already bought few for this baby too.
    I agreed that they're cute.
    People would compliment them when LO wore those socks.

    I was addicted to Baby Legs too last time trying to hold myself not buying more of legwarmers this time around.

    Old Navy socks are great and are only $1 a pair - Gap often has sales this low as well. 

    Did you buy Trumpettes?  They are adorable and great quality, but I only use them if they are gifted.  Target has similar socks for a lot less.

    Yep...Trumpettes...so cute right?!  I have rationalized this by telling myself that DS2 isnt getting really anything new...all hand me downs from DS1.  I'll see if I have the willpower to return them!

    If they are Trumpettes I would keep them.  They were the ONLY socks that would stay on my son's feet.  For what I saved in just not losing them while we were out, they were totally worth it.  Every other sock we lost at some point: waste of money.  I only bought 12 pairs (6 in each pack) though...you won't need more because they seriously don't come off.  They are awesome.

    I had Trumpettes on my registry but MH took one look at them and said they freaked him out so baby girl is not allowed to wear Trumpettes. Weird huh?

    Am I supposed to have 18 pair of socks?

    Ha...dh doesnt have a choice! And no 18 is excessive...i mean ive got a bunch of the little white ones...but they came in packs of 6 pair. And each pack had at least one pair that i had to have. Plus theyre 0 to 6 mos...so i can justify the purchase bc ds2 will wear them for a while?
