Charting

My wife is pretty intense with her charting and spends time every day studying her chart and comparing it to others.  In general, I'm not too involved in the effort.  I am mostly aware of where we are in the cycle.

 How involved are or were you guys involved in charting while TTC?

    I wasn't involved at all. The more I knew about the charting the worse I preformed to the extant of not wanting any at all. It kinda put. Big strain on our relationship but then then next day she peed on a stick and it came back positive. We couldn't be happier now

    Four months along and doing well now.

    We didn't really do much full blown charting.  My wife had an app on her phone that basically tracked her cycle and we knew roughly when it was time.  It also helps that most months she can feel when she ovulates (she has PCOS, so I guess it hurts a little?)

    My wife measured her ovulation for the first few months, which got stressful.  We eventually just gave up on that.  Then we moved for her new job, and we went to "We're not trying, but we're not doing anything to stop it either."  And, of course, that's when she got pregnant.

    My wife charted....it really is a pain.

    We paid the money and got the ovulation strips, which are very accurate and much easier to validate when ovulation is happening. I do remember doing a double take on the price though...
