have an insaine pressure in pelvic area...

It's very very uncomfortable and i cant figure out whats causing it. I figure well i must need to relieve the bladder... well i went #1 and #2 (lol TMI, but i dont think you ladies care). and still was feeling the uncomfortable pressure. So anyone out there that can tell me if this is normal and to just deal with it please do so. Being a FTM i have no idea if this is common place in pregancy or not. Maybe baby is just sitting lower and pushing on that region?? All input is welcome!!

  • Is it a UTI type of feeling? When in doubt, I'm a big advocate for calling your OB. Hope it's nothing!

yeah unfortunately ive had so many UTI's in the last few years that i can tell the difference and know when i have one pretty quickly with minimal symptoms. So i am fairly certain this isnt the case. but if its still like this tomorrow i may contemplate going to OB to see if they could run a urine analysis to be sure. Never know.. my UTI symptoms could be completely different during pregnancy..

  • I had this all weekend along with some tightening in my pelvic area. I called my OB yesterday and she said a lot of it has to do with stretching and pressure is very normal. Even though you went # 2 you could still have some gas trapped in there. That happens to me a lot.

  • I get this when I stand for long periods of time or sit in a fairly uncomfortable chair (like at a restaurant) for an hour or more. My pain seems to be at the top of my pelvis/bottom of my belly. Not sure if this could be something that happened with you. When it happens to me, though, it's usually gone after I take it easy for awhile...

  • I ended up in the ER for abdominal pressure yesterday and was dx with a UTI. They do present differently in pregnancy so if it persists it would be worth it to call.
