Who doesn't want to pack their hospital bag??

So, I started packing my hospital bags today...(I'm 37 weeks) but I'm having a hard time. Mostly because I don't want to give up some things that I'm wearing now....and...It's all just becoming so REAL. Like DH could be here in the next 20 days real...

Anyone else have this problem?

    I was thinking of starting it earlier today but ran out of time.  I plan on making up a list of what needs to be in it and then check off what is actually in the bag and if not where it can be located (I figured this would be the best way for DH or MIL if we have to leave in a hurry).

    I'm having this baby no later than 25 days and I am starting to freak about what's not done.  It's driving me mad that very few are realizing the reality of it and that I don't want to be shopping for things and working on paperwork right after another CS!!

    I have a list and it's all in a pile.....does that count?  My husband went to target for me today to get the last of the things I needed.

    I finally got around to getting some comfy pants, nursing tanks and sleep bras today, nothing else though and no bag for them to go in lol

    I did not pack my bag until I went in to labor the last two times...I may this time, but only because I have group B strep and need to get to the hospital for the antibiotics.

    We have been putting it off, but will begin to pack the bag/s tonight.  We live 40 mins or so from the hospital, so I really need to be as prepared as I can so that DH doesn't have to run home to get something that we forgot.  For anything that can't be put in the bag now, I'll make a list to keep with the bag of what is still left to pack.

    DX = Endo and right tube blocked
    IUI #1-3 - 50mg Clomid, 75iu Gonal, Ovidrel, Progesterone = BFN

    This! DH and I were just talking about it today. I told him I would be willing to wash them now and put them in the bag because I refuse to be at the hospital without them, but then again I'm not waddling around the house without them either. I'm so torn!

    With DD I packed my bags after she was 2 days late. Beginning labor was really slow for me and I had plenty of time to pack before we decided to head to the hospital.
    DD1 - 08.10

    I haven't started, don't have a list, nothing. Last time I packed at 38 weeks (after 2 weeks of DH harassing me) and ended up being induced after a routine doctor's appointment, so I didn't have it with me anyway. Although it was ready, so DH just had to grab it. I probably won't think about it until at least 38 weeks, but I figure I'll have time if I go into labor. Plus, I didn't really need my bag until hours and hours after the baby was born, so there  would be plenty of time for DH to go home and pack it for me if I didn't have it done.

    I ordered a new Vera Bradley travel tote from RueLaLa and bought some toiletries for the bag. But at 32 weeks 4 days, I have some time!

    I have a list, but can't give up wearing my favorite comfy clothes for the next 4 weeks ( I am 36 weeks).  We have everything everything else done and are ready.  I am thinking I will have time to grab everything and put in my large Vera tote when labor starts.

    Same here - we are about an hour from the hospital and the less we have to do before we run to the car the better.

    I packed our travel size items, contact cases, solution, toothbrushes and items like that but for the clothing I am going to pack that last minute (hopefully it will be clean when I go into labor)

    I haven't started either.  I need to get LO's clothes washed before I can pack anything anyways since I'll be packing his take-home outfit.  H still has to sand and stain the dresser so until that's all said and done, my bag will wait.  I'm not worried though.  I feel like I still have loads of time (even though I know I don't).

    Mine is packed but only because my doctor specifically told me to at my 35 week appointment.  He said it's possible I may go early because my uterus has been "irritable."  Now that it's packed, i"m sure I'm going to go late!  Otherwise I probably still wouldn't have packed it yet...

    Me too!! My water broke...i took a shower packed my bag and headed to the hospital!! Baby wasnt born until 25-26 hours later! SO there is plenty of time to get things done! Not packing until morning of csec this time too!! haha
