First Pregnancy!!! So Excited :)

Hi Mommies!!

I'm so excited to finally be able to join this group and be able to say I'm pregnant!! I've wanted nothing more than to be a mama my whole life. I'm 28 years old, just graduated with my masters, got a job, and married the love of my life on August 12! As if that weren't enough excitement...I'm pretty sure we conceived on our wedding night!!

 Last weekend my husband and I went to a concert and some crazy drunk person threw a full bottle of beer at my head resulting in my getting a concussion (not nice).  I'm fine, but I started having typical concussion symptoms...nausea, fatigue, overly-emotional, moody, etc....sound familiar?? ;)  2 days later, I started to wonder if maybe my symptoms were being exacerbated by the fact that my period was due... over-due, in-fact! I realized it had been 40 days since my LMP...so I took a home test. Came out positive...went to the doctor to double check and sure enough? PREGGGOOOOO!!!! 

I sent my sister a text (picture of my positive test) and she responded with a picture of a positive test... HER'S! She conceived within a few days of me and we are both due the first week of May! Meanwhile our other sister is already pregnant and due Jan 4! So..the 3 of us are all expecting and due within months of each other! Something is in the water...

Basically I'm floating in the clouds right now! So excited... Completely nervous and trying not to get too excited because I know it's still early, and there have been miscarriages in my family... But I'm also trying to think positively!

Congrats to all of you other new mommies! So, happy to share this awesome experience with all of you :)

    this is so awesome!!!! It will be so exciting to go through the pregnancy with all your sisters. Don't think about the negative. Just focus on the positive and happy thoughts! So exciting!!!

    Aww, I bet your parents are just ecstatic!  That's too cool.  Congrats.

    Totally! It will be so special :)  However, along with my excitement of having someone to share it all with...also comes the fear of something happening to one of our pregnancies and not the other. I have been worrying about that lately too...That would be extra difficult I feel like, to go through a portion of a pregnancy with someone (sister, friend, whoever) and then one has to say goodbye :(

    All we can do is think positively and take it one day at a time, but it's definitely in the back of my head sometimes.
