  I don't know your relationship with BM but in my personal opinion and situation, I would be more than just frustrated with DH! BM and I get along fine, and SS doesn't know anything that goes on behind the scenes, he's a happy 7yo with 2 sets of parents. That being said, this event only involves the child and is a special time for you and DH. Having BM there would be so strange ... there are boundaries with even the happiest of blended families!
