Yogawood

Hi South Jersey Moms!

This is my first pregnancy, so I love reading all of the advice and local suggestions.  I'm due in May.

I am going to start taking yoga at Yogawood in Collingswood.  Does anyone else go there?  At what point is it good to switch from regular yoga to prenatal yoga?

Thanks!

Re: Yogawood

  • I went to yogawood while I was pregnant. I started prenatal when I was around 28 weeks. I switched when the new session opened and regular yoga was just getting difficult.
  • Yogawood is fantastic! I went there for several classes when I was pregnant with my 2 year old daughter.  Now that I am am pregnant again, I would love to go again but I live in Moorestown and traveling all the way to Collingswood for yoga doesn't make a lot of sense.  I also hear that they have an excellent massage therapist that does pre-Natal massage.  I think her name is Chrissy.

I think should make the switch whenever your usual yoga routine becomes uncomfortable.  Probably sometime during the start of your second trimester.
