I am in the process of weaning DS and switching to formula. He takes 3 bottles of formula a day (6 oz each) plus nurses twice. He is on table food 3x a day. How long does your LO go at night without a feeding? We give LO his last bottle around 7:30. He wakes up to nurse around 430 am but then right back to bed. 9 hours straight is pretty good but I would like to wean him completely because sometimes he pushes that wake up time earlier and earlier and we have to let him cry a bit. At this point, he may be waking up out of habit. I'm not sure how much he is taking because he is nursing. I realize that this is pretty good because he goes back to sleep. I know some babies are up for the day at this hour! Anyways, I would like to wean from this early morning session but is that unreasonable? Thanks!
Re: FF question: how many hours at night?
DS has been almost exclusively FF since birth (don't even get me started on that...) and he STTN at 4 weeks. Between months 8-9 he was waking up during the night but not to eat.
He usually sleeps 12+ hours and has since like 3 months old.

We supplemented DD with formula at the beginning. Once we increased her oz. during the day (around 4 months old), she slept all night without waking. She is now EFF since 5.5 months and still sleeps 11-12 hours a night. Before consistently having solids 3x/day, I was giving her four 8 oz. bottles. Now she has four 6 oz. bottles and doesn't always drink all of each of those bottles.
