I am a podiatrist and would support wearing the boot. It is annoying but since the pain has been present for the 2 months and radiographs are positive for the fracture I would highlt suggest wearing it. It could heal without it, but it also can turn into a delayed or nonunion and that can cause pain too. the toddler can also step on the area and cause more pain. I would contact the doctor abou the CAM walker AKA "moon boot." Wearing a stiff soled shoe would be an alternative, but not the best. What bone did they say is broke?
