I am in the same boat as you. My goal was to nurse to a year but now I am comfortable with nursing longer as long as I don't have to pump. My thoughts were to stop pumping at work around a year and try to just nurse in the mornings and evenings. I have a huge freezer stash so plan to send some of that daycare. We still have a few months before that happens but that is my plan. DD might change those plans for me though.

There are no rules. That's the best part about nursing a toddler. Also, nursing a toddler is so much easier than nursing a baby. I stopped pumping at 1 year with both DDs, but that was because I hated pumping. I continued to nurse on demand after that. DD1 nursed more than DD2 at 1 year, but now at 2 years we're basically at the same point. I night weaned both shortly after 2 years, and they were/are both nursing about 3x a day at 2. DD1 was weaned shortly after 3 years. We'll see what happens with DD2 since I'm pg again.

Thank you...all of you...for the question AND the wonderful answers. I cannot express how much I am looking forward to no longer pumping at work, but I was definitely worried about it affecting my supply. I am also now looking forward to offending my in-laws by continuing to nurse, lol. My son is already night-weaned, so I will probably just cut back to morning and bedtime, but I'm relieved that it's not an all or nothing situation when we transition to WCM. Yay!
