Are car seat covers safe?

I know the ones that go in between the baby and the car seat are not safe because they can interfere with the function of the seat but what about something like this?

It doesn't look like it would be in the way but I just want to be sure. I see a lot of talk about JJ Cole Bundle Me not being safe but I've never seen this mentioned. TIA!

That looks like one of the safe ones but it is hard for me to tell on my phone. The "shower cap" style ones that just sit on top of the carseat and not under baby are ok.

That looks like a shower cap style cover so it's fine.

Car seat covers are super safe in my opinion, my husband and I have used a car seat cover for a while now, we had our safety doubts about them at first too but we've been super happy with it. I especially love the lady bug one I bought, it's cuttteeeee! Here's the site we bought from:
