  • If we are downstairs, then no upstairs then yes it's in her room.

  • We don't have one, never did. I always just changed her on the bed, and now, on the floor.
  • Absolutely. My mom never had a changing table (she had kids when I was in HS) so I thought I wouldn't need one but I'm so glad we do. He knows the changing table is where diapers are changed, he can't get down alone, and the sooner it's over with the sooner he can go back to playing so he is usually cooperative. The few times I've tried to change him elsewhere, he struggles to get back to his toys or whatever he was doing.

  • Nope. She tried to do a twist and dive maneuver off of it around 6 months and that was the end of that. We just use the floor.
  • Yes- it's much quicker and easier than trying to do it on our bed or the floor.

  • We never had one, but for awhile I used our big stroller that we don't use anymore. DH still uses that, but I use the floor. I have a hard time wrangling him sometimes, and he likes to thrash his legs, so I kind of wish he had a changing table.

  • Our changing table is integrated in our wardrobe so she's more contained in there than on the floor or bed so we do still use it but it's not a changing table per say.

    This.

Any attempts at diaper changing anywhere else have always resulted in a half naked baby running around.  He's nuts if he's not on his changing table.

  • Our changing table is a changing pad on top of the dresser...we use it if we are upstairs....the baby has only been changed on it maybe 5 times thus far haha.

  • Yes, both upstairs and downstairs.  Upstairs we have the changing pad on his dresser and everything he needs next to it.  Down stairs we have a 5 or 6 foot foldout buffet table that we keep open with a changing pad and everything he needs.  He isn't in diapers most of the time anymore, but we still use it to get him dressed and things.

  • I pretty much just use it for diapers in the morning right when he gets up, changing his clothes when he gets up, and bedtime.  Sometimes before/after nap, too.  We barely spend any time upstairs except to sleep, so that is why.

  • We don't have a stand alone changing table, but we have a changing pad on a dresser.  I still change DD2 who is 2 1/2 on it as well.  I don't want diapers and wipes all over the house so this keeps it in one central location (and it keeps me fit walking up and down the stairs).  I think it also helps keep things consistent.  They can roll around on the floor, couch etc, but they need to be still on the changing table.  It makes changing time much more fun and a lot easier.

  • I never bought a changing table because I knew I would never use it.

  • Every day, every change.  He is so much calmer on his table and even helps get dressed.  Anywhere else and he tries to run, crawl, squirm away the entire time.

  • Yes. Have since day 1.  She's over 16 months old.

  • Always if we are at home. He knows he can't roll off the side so he stays the most still I can possibly get him. Changing him on the floor is a total nightmare.
