  I'm in Ohio too and I am thinking pot roast. I make mine on the stovetop, cooked on low for hours with Italian seasoning and a little red wine (the alcohol all cooks off, of course). This is the recipe I use and it is super delish: https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/pot_roast/

  Ooo, both of those sound good!! What's crazy is that I'm Hungarian, and I've never made goulash!!

  My crock pot favs are broccoli cheese soup, and homemade mac 'n cheese. Roasts are another fav, with some potatoes, carrots, and onions.

  Love roasts in the crockpot with just. Dry onion soup mix on top with a can of root beer. So easy and so good.

  For some reason my mind just races to mashed potatoes and chicken gravy! That is whats for lunch tomorrow! I cook my potatoes on the stove then mash n mix in the crockpot n let em set for about 2 hrs.

  My grandma heard that I've pretty much been eating chicken soup and made me my FAVORITE comfort food ever - her homemade chicken & dumplings. SO GOOD! I wish I could make them myself, but she's one of those people who can make something amazing with "a pinch of this" and "a handful of that", so there aren't really any measurements for me to write down a recipe.

  Thanks, everyone!! By the time I got home from the store, it was too late to put anything in the crock pot, so we just had tacos instead haha! But, I will be making comfort food all week!

  P.S. I know we were talking about Chipotle last night. Made this rice for the first time tonight with the tacos. YUM!! Tasted JUST LIKE Chipotle's rice!
