So much TV!

I have watched more TV nursing the last two weeks than I have in the last year, it feels like! Anyone have any recs for things streaming on Netflix? I like sci fi, period dramas, and smart comedies.

During the first 6ish weeks with my LO I watched the 4 seasons of Mad Men that Netflix has available.....a little embarrassing but really it was all I could do - I was constantly nursing! I would watch an episode or two....or three every night! Haha, seriously though, we don't have cable so it was Netflix marathons for those first few weeks. Mad Men entertained me, I recommend it. lol

It's seriously all I've been doing lately! I can't read because I still need both hands to keep her latched. I enjoy the clothes on Mad Men, though Don Draper makes me crazy!

I have been watching all the old Dr. Who episodes. Both new seasons 1 through 6 and the ones from the 60s 70s and 80s. Netfilx is keeping me sane while I worry about having a house before pumpkin gets here.

Ooo, good idea. I'm working my way through Farscape again, but I'm almost finished. And I miss me some Ten.

they also have star trek next gen., voyager, ds9, original, and enterprise on demand!

I started watching White Collar. Also if you haven't seen it yet try the newer (by comparison) Battlestar Galetica (sp).

Oh, yes. The only ST series I haven't seen multiple times is DS9... maybe maternity leave is the time to finally get into that one.

I have tried to get into Battlestar Galactica so many times... I think it's too depressing for me, as much as I absolutely love some of the elements. And the handsome fellas.

I've been watching Supernatural, Caprica, and 30 Rock. The first two aren't my favorites ever but they're good enough to keep going. I did get into Supernatural after a few episodes for the eye candy. I keep meaning to start Downton Abbey (yes, I am the last person alive to start it) but I haven't yet.

I've had Supernatural recommended to me a few times. I ought to give it a try. And 30 Rock! Oh, how I love 30 Rock.

First couple month's of LO's life I watched all sort of seasons on HBO. I really enjoyed King of Throns.
