I just got back from vacation and had no problem with my milk. I took two 5 oz bottles of BM and a 5 oz bottle of prune juice and a 5 oz bottle of water. They just scanned it and then put it in a machine to check it. No problems. I checked the TSA site before I went and it states that Formula, Breast Milk, Juice for infants, and water for infants are exempt. The pump didn't count as an extra carry on for me either.
According 2 new FAA rules, the exception 4 the 2 oz liquid rule is when traveling w a baby. I recently flew twice in aug with full bottles sippee cup of juice w no prob. The security checked it the flight down nobody cared on way home. No probs. I also took diaper bag and sep bag 4 breast pump was not questioned.
