Silverware?

Any tricks to get my kiddo to use her silverware?  She knows how to, she just refuses to.  And it doesn't matter what she is eating.  Every meal requires a bath afterwards and it's driving me crazy.  If I try taking her food away she won't care.

    Des she have any friends that use it well? DS was motivated by a friend.... When he didn't use silverware we'd ask him to try and hold his fork just like Miss E. then he would spontaneously say "is that how she does it?" of course ave the friend over or a meal or snack so your LO can model the behavior. I don't usually compare kids, but friends can be great influences!

    Does she have a favorite color? I know my daughter will be 100x more likely to use/choose something that is purple. Maybe you could make a big stink about how the spoon or fork is her favorite color, just like her *insert childs favorite toy/blanket that is the same color*.

    Good luck, kids can be so stubborn sometimes!
