DS either turns his head, closes his lips, or has even spit it out when I give him medicine. I have tried flavoring it and it doesn't help. I use those syringes they give you, is there something better? Is he old enough for a spoon? Not sure that will help. Any tips?

Re: How can I get him to take medicine!?
ILs bought us that elephant medicine dispenser thing (clicky). Have you tried one of those? We've never used it, and so far (knock on wood) DD has always been fine with taking medicine, so I'm hoping we never need to use it. But a lot of people swear by it.

We give DD large doses of medicine 2x a day and it's not fun most of the time. We use this (we got it at BRU) - https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Hospitals-Choice-Medicine-Dispenser/dp/B002RJKH4G/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ba_4
If that doesn't work, we need to put it in a syringe and and put it on the side of her cheek, which she hates and is a struggle.
Good luck!
