1st birthday gift??

My good friend's son is turning one this month and I want to get him a kick A b-day gift! I'm just visiting here from the 0-3 month board, so have no idea on this.

We got the Fisher Price Poppity-Pop Musical Dino and the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Playhouse for my DD for her 1st birthday. She loves them and plays with them all the time. My 4 yo DS also loves the playhouse.

DS still plays with his Playskool Busy Gears or Leapfrog phonics fridge magnets. He got both for his 1st birthday. He loves blocks, cars, books and puzzles too.

The tunnel he just loves! Plus if your friends have pets they will love it too. The balls are great too because you can put them in the tunnel or a ball pit :-)

DD's favorite first bday gifts were the cozy coupe and the laugh and learn kitchen. They are still good toys almost a year later.

Depends on how much you would like to spend.

For cheaper gifts, I would go with: books, baby piano, "my pal scout", little people bus, farm, airplane (anything little people), fisher price "smart phone", clothes, instrument set, tub toys, etc.
