  After I weaned DS my boobs didn't completely dry up until a few weeks later. They hurt for a while and then they leaked a lot. After they were done leaking my boobs were fine and didn't hurt anymore.

  I hope the pain goes away soon! It sucks

  Just a warning, they don't always "dry up" completely. Mine don't hurt, but they leak occasionally still and I only BFed for 2 months after LO was born (so it's been about 19 months).

  I was talking to a woman recently and she said that she lactated for 4 years! I would imagine if you're producing enough to leak, then there's quite a back up that would cause pain. I stopped nursing a couple of months ago, but that's because I got pregnant, so I'm not sure if my leaking is weaning or pregnancy related.

  Mine seem to be dried up and I'm experiencing the same thing. They aren't sore all of the time, but if my kiddo is climbing on me, youch!
