Psychic 3 year old

  We are waiting until Oct 13 (12 weeks) to share our news.  Because we know our boys would not be able to keep this surprise we have not told them yet.  So imagine my surprise when my three year old was snuggling on the couch with me and said, "the new baby is in your tummy." 

The day before his brother had asked me why my tummy felt sick and I said, "it the hormones in my tummy making me feel sick.  I will be better soon."  Caleb looked at me and smiled, "it's not hormones in you tummy, it's a baby."  

We just figured the first time was a fluke, but twice in two days....We don't really talk about it in front of the boys, except in code.  I guess he has either broken our code, or he is psychic.  The funny thing is Noah who is 5 has no clue.

    That warms my heart. That means they are so comfortable and around you so often that they notice any slight change. I don't know how to explain it, but that gave me a big ol' smile

    I work in a small daycare and my boss hasn't told her son, who is 5, because he likes to talk and she thought he would tell all the parents I was going to have a baby....well yesterday he just turned and looked at me and said 'miss alyse your baby is a boy...you have a boy baby in your belly' !!!!! We couldn't believe it
    So weird how they know things sometimes!!

    What a sweet story. I work with young children and I wonder if they will say anything.

    ETA: The other day my mom told my nephew that his aunt is going to have a baby, and he replied "mommy and I already have a baby" (referring to his little sister). Cute. 


    Started TTC July 2012. Missed m/c & d&c 9/12 11w. Natural m/c 1/13 6w. Chemical pgs 3/13 & 8/13 around 4w. Currently TTA while saving for adoption.

    My toddler told me I was pregnant! He was laying in bed nursing and tapping my belly! I asked him what he was doing and he said "playing with baby"!

    We were trying after mc but I still had not tested!

    My older daughter is the same way. The other day I gave our jumperoo to a friend for her to borrow and Annie asked me "But Mama, what are we going to use for our baby?" I have no idea how she picked it up, we haven't told anyone.
