  We haven't yet, but I do worry about the bookcases.

  I didn't think much about the dresser in his room, but right before we were moving, my mom told me this story her boss told her about the boss' sister. When she was like two she pulled out the drawers of her dresser to climb up it, and it tipped and fell over. The only reason it didn't crush her was because her crib stopped it. I was like OMG and we put his dresser into our room instead when we moved.

  You can buy furniture wall straps- in the babyproofing section.  You basically screw a think strap to the wall and to your furniture piece.

  It is really easy and really important. Consider not just the child's room but also all rooms in the house. And don't forget the TV!
