Weekend plans ladies??
We are going out to dinner tonight- DH isn't feeling well and is craving Pho. I have a long 8 mile run tomorrow morning, then DH and I will be leaving to watch our college play football. Plan to drop LO off at grandma's and spend the day tailgating before the game. Sunday we will drive home and watch our TEXANS!!!

That sounds like a great weekend!
I'm enjoying a glass of wine now. (already friday night here and E is sleeping)Our plan is to unpack and get the house cleaned and better organised. We plan on travelling to Scotland's Isle of Lewis for a weekend getaway in two weeks, so I'm researching B&Bs and ferry times as well.

I love Pho.
Tonight DH is going to a friend's birthday party so LO and I are on our own (I could have gone too, but it's not really my thing and so I didn't try very hard to find a sitter). We may go over to a friend's house or we may just chill out. Tomorrow is a day to do practical things, and then Sunday is opening day of football season so we'll be watching the Bills game (likely very depressing) and eating junk food.
My mom is coming over for dinner. First time seeing her since her heart attack. Cannot believe that 3 months have gone by! She's only had energy for working and sleeping. I'm glad she'll get some time with A tonight.
Tomorrow and Sunday are all about dusting the walls (after mudd/tape) downstairs and getting the basement painted before the carpet arrives on Monday.
Friday night is beer night. Negra Modelo perhaps? OR.....

Last minute, I went out with some of my former colleagues/friends for drinks and appetizers. DH was home from work early, so he was able to stay home and I was able to get out for a little bit! It was good to catch up with everyone!
Tomorrow, we'll take it easy. I hope to get to the farmers' market in the morning and then we'll have football on all afternoon.

Tomorrow I'm going to the gym, dragging DH to the quilt shop to drool over...er, look at...fabric, going to see DH's cousin's new house, and working an event at the museum. Busy Saturday!
I'm with ya on the absent DH - mine is out of town for the weekend at a wedding, and DS and I are home sick. We weren't planning on going anyway - it's too far away and DS doesn't enjoy road trips - but taking care of a sick baby while sick yourself pretty much sucks.
Only the best thing ever!!!! It's Vietnamese noodle soup. So yummy!

Pho was exactly what I wanted when I was sick! Funny, I even asked on our local FB page if there was any good Pho to be found in our neighbourhood. The answer was no.
