Saving your childs memories online? facebook posts

Good afternoon everyone i joined this group because i want to get some advice from everyone. I know some people are reluctant to put their childrens info on facebook, but if you do, is there a way to save all your old posts or memories? Can you recommend any sites you use to save important moments? I get so nervous with all my kids information out there floating around..Im hearing sites like Keep A boo or baby jelly beans Shutterfly are there any recommendations? Likes dislikes?

  • I'm not familiar with the sites you mentioned except for Shutterfly.

You can make a private blog, viewable by invite only. I haven't blogged for awhile, but I know Wordpress had that option, and I think Blogger does, too.

I also heard of someone making an email account for their child, then sending email to it (letters, photos). Obviously, the child won't be able to read the email for a long time, but it would all be there.

  • In addition to a shutterfly site and FB posts, I keep two blogs on blogspot. One is public, but one is private that no one can see without the password. I write posts to her on that.
  • Someone one on another board mentioned Lifeables...Anyone tried that yet guess its new i checked it out it was really cool, very different it lets you find all your kids old facebook memories which i thought was neat
