need 1st bady baseball theme ideas pls

ok son's 1st bday is in early jan and we are thinking of a baseball theme bc 1. he's been to a few games 2. DH LOVES the Yankees

It will most likely be held at pizza parlors private room (haven't cnfirmed yet)

please give me any and all ideas! Looking for something cute for the invite wording too.

    Just did my sons in April with this theme. Found a great invite on etsy. If you want the seller let me know, I don't remember off hand. It said: L has just finished his rookie year. Game day(party date) game time, game location, and RSVP L's managers. I bought a bag of practice plastic baseballs with holes in them at dicks sporting goods and used them in red buckets as centerpieces and decorations. Cupcakes looked like baseballs on top. So easy but so cute. I also bought large beach ball baseballs from party city for the kids to play with because our party was in the yard.

    I would do a photo invite with him all baseballed out, and then get those full page lables and use some creative wording and attach it to the back  (we did this for DS rockstar party, they were a huge hit).

    You could give out plastic bats and a ball as loot bag items.

    We did a sports-themed party, though it was mostly baseball. Half of the cupcakes were baseballs on top and the other half footballs.

    One thing I thought of too late was to have little baseball hats as party favors for the kids. That would have been fun.

    I also considered doing a DIY baseball pinata, but didn't have time to do it.

    I also got some of those #1 foam hands and used those as decorations.

    Cute idea, but my first thought was you're having a baseball party in January, one of the few months that doesn't have baseball games.  But that doesn't matter- definitely check out pinterest.  I've gotten great ideas for my son's bday party.

    This is a good point - OP, you might want to do your party decoration shopping by the end of baseball season. Or you might be able to find some good sales on it just after the season ends. The World Series is at the end of October, so that might be a good time to look.

    Also, if you want to buy plates/napkins/decorations that are specifically 1st birthday baseball themed, they are out there. I came across them while looking for decorations for DS's party. Just put that into google and you should find them.
