What state did you chose and why?
We live in MA so i am considering that plan so people who contribute to it can potentially get a tax break. It is also managed by fidelity so that makes me feel good.
Anyone else?

Re: 529 Plans
When we went through this, I found it very confusing since each state has it's own plan. It made my brain want to explode.
Some state plans have residency requirements and some do not. Some allow for transfer of funds by court order in event of death only and some allow in the event of death or incapacity. Some plans have incentives like tax breaks on state income taxes. My best piece of advice is to go to savingforcollege.com . On the site, you can compare plans and see the difference to pick one that works best for your family.
