Crap! I think my pump died

I'm working from home today, and got all setup to pump and turn the little knob and nothing. I've tried several outlets, making sure the adapter is all the way in and nothing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's just the adapter. Sad

  • Oh no! Hopefully it can be fixed.

  • Just got off the phone with Medela and they are shipping a new one, but the weekend is not on my side in it getting here any sooner.

I think I'll be picking up DS early today to feed when I would normally pump.

  • It may be under warranty.  My first pump died and they overnighted(!!!) a new one.

ETA: Yay!  The Medela piston can be used as a manual if you have one with a piston.  Also, BRU sells manual medela pumps.

This thing is pretty old. I think I'll be making a trip out soon to get a manual for the mean time. Good idea!

  • Have you tried doing it by hand? I can get more by hand than I can with my electric.
