Are ALL of my posts here going to be angsty? It must be the hormones.
Speaking of hormones, I'm really starting to lose my patience with my two best friends. I've known these girls for going on 14 years, and I just want to smack both of them right now. Ever since they found out I'm preggers, they've suddenly been having "sympathy symptoms". One of them is suddenly feeling nauseous sometimes. She even had to take a pee test at the same time I did to make sure she wasn't K/U too, despite the fact that her last romp was a hookup with protection. The other got her period a few days late and said that it must have been my hormones throwing her cycle off track because that totally happens!
The thing is, both of these ladies really want to have babies and be pregnant, and all the usual jazz of any girl who wants babies, but they either can't or simply haven't started trying yet. I just want to be like, NO. Stop being imbeciles. You'll feel symptoms when you're pregnant. In the meantime, your upset stomach is because you're lactose intolerant, and your late period is because you have PCOS. (True, on both counts).
Am I being a jerk? Probably. Just wanted to get that out, though.

Re: My best friends are pissing me off.
LOL, it definitely is because now I'm laughing. Rolla coasta...of hormones! I'm riding that wave so hard right now, uggggh.

Not babbling at all! I get it. I guess I normally don't buy the "hormones in tune with each other" thing unless women actually spend a LOT of time together, though, and as of late we haven't really been spending much time together at all.
I also get suddenly wondering if you're preggers when you find out a friend is, and I totally wouldn't have been feeling so catty about my friends doing that if there was even a remote possibility they were, lol. Not to mention that these two friends in particular are also a little bit AW-ish, so sometimes I'm like, yer not friggin' pregnant and it's not going to kill you to step out of the limelight for a sec.
Ugh, I feel like a werewolf on a cloudy, full-moon night.

LOL - You gave them the Fever!!!! I got it recently, and nobody around me IRL is pg, just you all on the board. I've felt gas bubbles and wistfully thought I was pg, almost took an HPT but talked myself down since it's impossible I am pg.
Teasing: I guess you want all the glory of being pg yourself, without "sharing"?
(1) When my sister was pg (2004), I got the Fever --- it pissed her off I disappeared during one of her OB appts and took an HPT.
(2) When I has a sticky pg (2010), my sister got the Fever (she was done with her family years before) --- I just looked at her blankly.
My examples aren't inspiring because we weren't exactly understanding of each other, but it demonstrates how Normal it is. IMHO opinion take their shenanigans as flattery.
