Re: (Untitled)

  • I would, and just replace the nipples. Just make sure you boil & sanitize the bottle give it a good cleaning. Smile and you should have no problems.

  • I replaced between my first two but that is because we used the Playtex plastic  bottles and the 'BPA free' thing happened between the two.  If you are using glass, I wouldn't replace.

  • Can I ask why you replace nipples? DD never took a bottle, so I have a whole bag of Dr. Browns, Breastflow and a few other brands where some were attempted to be used a handful of times, and some were never used. Is it because of wear out use from sucking? Or because the nipple material breaks down over time? The bottles would be about 2 years old as DD will be 28 months when the new one arrives. Should I buy new nipples?

  • I have to ask, why are you all replacing nipples?

DS is 2 1/2 so I'm not concerned about materials used in the bottles or the nipples - we used Tommee Tippee and I see no reason to replace anything so I'm just curious about the concern over the nipples?
