Today at school conferences, a woman introduced herself to me. Clearly she felt I should know her. She told me her daughter's name. Again blank. I vaguely remember SS2 mentioning this girl for about one week months ago.
Apparantly this girl was devastated that SS2 didn't want to be her boyfriend. SS2 is only 16 and really isn't into having that commitment. Daughter was so upset about going back to school because she had class with SS2.
Seriously? This was such a passing phase for SS2 that I'm not sure I really know which girl she was.

Dont think its 'drama free' on the boy side. I have a 16 yo and he and his buddies are very dramatic in their feelings, actions and reactions. They are just taught at a younger age to HOLD IT IN.
So while they are not squealing on the outside, they are on the inside.
I remember the online conversations (Xbox 360 game) between SS and his3 buds when the one friend got his first date.
I will admit I'm really NOT looking forward to the teen years with SD, she is aleady overly dramatic (pretty sure she gets this from BM).
on the other hand, DS is giving me a run for my money right now!
