So I got one employee comment and one random older lady comment.
The old lady comments and says how precious my baby is and then says "you're so lucky"...for some reason I thought that was odd..I don't know. I'm weird when people make comments when I take my baby anywhere.
The Target employee guy...late twenties maybe..asks how old she is. I say "5 months"and he says "she looks chill". I say that she's very good and I probably just jinxed it. I try to joke around so I don't seem so annoyed when people stop and look at my child. He then proceeds to say, "6 months is horrible"...um thanks, dude for that lovely insight.
Re: Comments from Target..sorry lauranicole:)
I don't think these comments are offensive. People just love babies and people also sometimes say strange things. I would just smile and shrug it off.
Now, Danielle's story about someone sticking a finger in her baby's mouth... that was offensive!
I didn't think they were offensive...just odd. Yes, if someone touched her, that would definitely be offensive. I cringed once when a random lady was touching her hands...now sticking their fingers in her mouth...ewww
