When y'all go out to dinner either with friends or just with your own family (when bringing LO) do y'all go earlier to avoid LO being out late and being cranky and tired, or do you just go whenever?
My friends without kids always ask to go out to dinner and always want to go around 7 or 8. Well Madison goes to bed at 7 and there is no way I am going to deal with a cranky baby at a restaurant alone, while trying to eat, feed her, and catch up with friends. I just am tired of always being that woman who is like sorry we can't, or we can only go to dinner if it's around 5!
I guess I am just more thinking out loud and getting it out of my system more than thing!
Re: Going out to dinner?
We're lucky that our friends try to plan a little around what works best for our schedule, because they want to see J and not a crank-butt lol.
Could you maybe have them at your house instead of going out?
We go if we can plan to be home by 6:30ish, or we decline. We usually plan on meeting for lunch because that works better for our schedule.
Last time we went out to dinner it was about 6ish, we ate and got home by 8, which was ok, she wasn't over tired at that point.
I wouldn't go out at 7 or 8, that's just too late.
