Anyone else not even thinking about solids yet?

I remember being really excited to start them with DD1 (she started at about 5 1/2 months), but this time around I feel like it's just another thing I will have to try to fit into my day.

Yep, I feel the same way. I'm happy just BFing right now, it's so much easier. We'll probably start BLW at 6 months. I was really eager with DS1 but like everything else with #2, I'm not in a rush this time:)

I have zero desire to start. Same as you, its so much more work.

My chiropractor did only breastmilk as in nothing but for the first year for all 4 of her kids. I think about that all the time but I am scared.

No rush here either. We will start some at six months but I had the same thought as you.....how am I going to fit one more thing into our day.

I don't want to think about it, but my mom's giddy as a school girl about Zoe starting. We aren't even going there at all until at least 6 months.

I'm excited, but I'm refusing to think about it because I want to wait until the recommended 6 months. There is no reason to start early since J is EBF.

We give Pilar tastes of stuff here and there, but no real food. She does reach for food and smack her lips so she is getting ready. We won't truly start until she is six weeks.

Nope, not here either. Unless something dramatically changes, we will be waiting until 6 months to start cereal and anything else. She's not showing any signs of being ready and she is small so I don't want anything taking away from breastmilk filling her up.

We started with DD at 6 1/2 months, I see it going the same way this time. I can't believe he's almost old enough already!

Nope, i have the rice cereal in the pantry though. i think its going to be sitting there for awhile longer.

Me neither. Had her 4 mth yesterday and he said we can start cereal whenever but I'm just not going to bother for a while. I don't see the point. I make enough milk for her so there is no need. I don't want the additional hassle and I don't want stinkier diapers.

Since she's EBF and I've read 6 mth is recommended I'm just going to wait.

But a lot can happen between now and 6 months. If she starts sitting unassisted, seems like she could feed herself with a bowl and a spoon then maybe I'll start sooner.

I'm excited to start feeding her solids but we are waiting until she is 6 months old. She is doing just fine and there is no reason to add anything at the moment. I honestly don't want to add another step to our already busy days!!

Me!! I am enjoying BFing so much & LO still seems satisfied. Will wait until 6 months as long as he seems content.

I'm so not interested. For some reason I think the process of spoon feeding a little baby is so freaking boring. With DD I tried to convince DH that because I did all of the BF-ing he had to do all of the solid feeding. He didn't buy it.
