hello heartburn :(

Ive had heartburn and acid reflux before, but it typically passes pretty quickly. Tonight however its making me feel sick to my stomach...ugh! I'm currently trying propping myself up with pillows in bed and eating some tums to see if that helps/allows me to sleep. I realllllllly don't want to get sick!

Anyone else battling heartburn lately?

    YES!!! I've had to sleep in the recliner a few times lately because of heartburn. I take Zantac once a day and 3 tums at a time if I need them throughout the day but it seems like that doesn't help alot anymore.

    Only 5 more weeks though! Good luck =)

    I haven't had it too bad with this pregnancy, but it was terrible when I was pregnant with DS. It would get so bad that I would wake up in the middle of the night gagging on stomach acid. I would try to prop myself up and take a bunch of tums too, but the only thing that really made a difference was eating less at night. I would try to eat a larger lunch and more snacks throughout the day and then eat a very light dinner at least a few hours before going to bed.

    I found a cure that works for me this time... Earth Mama Angel Baby heartburn tea.  The stuff is amazing!  I wish I knew about it in my previous pregnancies.

    My heartburn is so bad and had been that way for the last 3 months and nothing seems to help.  It has been manageable until recently.  Now I get it most nights and can hardly sleep.
