This board is really going to make me stroke out.

I've never felt this way about DH.. And we don't have "mine" and "your" things...especially food.
Someone please feel free to make it clicky since I don't know how.
Re: This seems rude to me..
Ummmmm? This lady sounds like a really nice wife??? Someone should enlighten this new mama that premade breakfast sandwiches are not so good for her either! So maybe her husband would be doing her a favor?! Ugh. I think I am just in a bad mood tonight.
That seems weird to me too.
The only food that we buy that is only for H are tv dinners or frozen stuff, because he has to eat dinner in hotel rooms often. I think we have even bought breakfast frozen sandwiches for him to take with him.
Other than that, there is nothing that I buy just for me or just for him. We share everything, even O's food! LOL

I agree that it's kind of rude the way that she put it, but I get where she's coming from. It's like someone said about pregnant lady foods, and what Fau said about her soda. My DH is the same way.
For the most part, whatever is in the house is fair game, but I'm a lot more selective than DH is about what I like to eat, and when, and how much. He will eat most anything, and he does, even when it's something I might have bought myself as a treat. Which I would have gladly shared with him, but a lot of times, he'll just eat it before I have a chance. Example - I might buy us each one of those mini ice cream sundae things from the grocery store. He will eat his right away - the night I bought them - and I might wait a few days to have mine when I can sit and relax and enjoy it. Often, when I go to get my ice cream, it's gone because I "just left it sitting in there." Or I'll buy a candy bar and put it in the fridge drawer. I will eat a refrigerated candy bar over the course of a week, by cutting chunks off of it here and there. But sometimes if I buy one and put it in the fridge, I never see it again. I would be happy to share it, but he just eats the whole thing before I have a chance. From a box of popsicles, I might have one before they're gone within a couple of days of buying them. Forget soda, I don't drink much of it, but I admit that it pisses me off when I go to get a glass and it's gone. So I try to find stuff that DH doesn't like and buy that for myself. Cottage cheese and hummus are two of my favorite snacks now because DH doesn't like either, so they actually last in my house.
If you bring leftovers home from being out to eat, they are your own.
Don't leave the kids with no milk.
If I say specifically not to eat something because it's for a recipe I'm planning on making within a few days.
It really wouldn't even be a big deal, but because we only have 1 car and DH's work schedule is so wonky, I can't just run to the store for what we need.
