How long on cereal?

DD just isn't thrilled about cereal at all. She will eat it to humor me but is just not crazy about it. she eats fruits and veggies fine as well as some finger food.

how long should you keep up with offering cereal?

    What kind of finger foods do you feed.  I bought puffs and the biter biskets but I am too afraid to feed them to her.  Does your DD have teeth?

    Nope no teeth yet.

    I give her strips of waffles, bagels (she usually just knaws on them wouldn't really say she 'eats' them), i soak cheerios in BM and she is fine with them.

    My pedi told us to give it as long as he will take it, to try to get past a year. DS has always eaten it just fine. I only mix it with fruits and veggies now.

    ds is not crazy about oatmeal, but I mix in with his purees and he takes it so much better (it took a while to get him to eat it that way).  I will do that until he is off of purees.

     I too will be trying the soak cheerios.  Thanks for the good idea.

    We mix rice cereal in with her fruit each day.
