I hilariously made it on to wtfpinterest.com with my adoption photos!  I just think this is hilarious.  Glad I could get the word out about adoption "maternity" photos!  https://www.wtfpinterest.com/archives/5652

    Our own journey can be so personal, sometimes it's hard to laugh at ourselves!

    Clearly, though, the blog author knows nothing about adoption... those pics are fabulous and precious....

    I like to think of myself as an adoption maternity photo pioneer.  Someday people will remember me as the woman who started the belly globe.  (I hope no one tells them that I actually got the idea from someone else on pinterest though.  I need my 5 minutes of fame.)

    Perhaps I just don't have a "wtf" kind of bent in my personality, but I've seen at least thousands of pictures on the internet that are weirder than that picture. And I don't go searching for weird pictures. The internet is like where weird pictures come to be famous... how weird is your picture? umm not...

    Now, if you stuck that globe under your skirt and cut a hole out where Russia was, THAT would be a "wtf" kind of picture, no?

    Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
    After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
    Homestudy complete July 19
    USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!

    I loved your photos..I am sure the first time a woman sat in her bra with her big baby bump hanging out, people put it on a wtf site too..
