I am thankful that DH reminded me to put on sunscreen before I mowed the yard. Two hours straight from 2:40 to 4:40 outside on the mower, and I'd have been cooked.
I am thankful that MIL was home from work to watch R while I mowed.
I am thankful that I will be filling in for a teacher from about October 15th through the end of the semester. I'm sad I'll have to send R to daycare, but I'll be working days and will have nights and weekends off with DH and my little guy.
I am thankful that I will get at least 15 minutes of uninterupted shower time after mowing the yard, since DH will pick R up from the IL's on his way home from work. A nice long shower is definitely what I need right now!
ETA: I'm also thankful that I was able to fix the mower by myself. The dogs had pulled an old air compressor hose into the yard and I didn't see it until I mowed over it - and wound it around the blades of the mower. I was able to cut it, untangle it, and remove it by myself! That's definitely a good thing, because DH wouldn't have let me live it down. If he doesn't ask, I'm not mentioning it.
So there's this boy. He kinda stole my heart. He calls me "Mom"
I am thankful that Q is so happy today, that H returned his tux during the work day so he's home with us tonight, that i got some laundry done and that my cat seems to be pretty much recovered.

I'm thankful that we're heading home first thing in the morning! I can't wait to see family.
Also, I didn't realize you got that job, Sami. Congrats!
