I have seen the
Baby Bargains book mentioned a lot while lurking on the different boards so finally decided to look it up. Do you think it is worth buying or can I find most of that info online? Also if it is worth buying, is this something that would work well with the kindle? I am asking because it is cheaper but if there are pictures or something it won't work that great.
Re: Baby Bargains book
Totally worth it. I used it for everything on my registry, and still used it when I bought DD's booster seat and convertible car seat almost 2 years after she was born.
There are pictures of many items, which can be helpful so you know you're getting the right one. But the product names are there, so you don't need the pictures.

yes. I love it! I also like the consumer reports one also. I still look things up.

Do this only if you don't care to have up-to-date info. They release a new one every year because products change so much!
I love the book--it rates off safety, customer service, and recalls and THIS is extremely helpful--not something I had the time to do endless research online for. It's about $15 new. Spend it. Money well spent.
