Gift bag for new mommy ideas?

One of my best friends daughter was born this morning. I am going to visit him and his baby in the hospital this afternoon. I have never meet his fiancee before but, I want to get the proud new mom some small gifts. Anyone have some ideas on what to get?

If BF maybe some pads, cream or storage bags. Wal-Mart or Target small balance GC is nice. If you are wanting it to be more for her maybe some bath bubbles, bath salts, robe, bath and body works something like that?

Oh and when you are there maybe offer to take a photo of the happy family.

I'm going to start doing snack baskets for new mommy friends. Trail mix, nutri-grain or granola bars, bottled water, etc. I felt like I was always stuck on the couch with a nursing or sleeping newborn, and it was tough relying on DH to feed me all of the time! For me, snacks that I could grab and eat with one hand were a lifesaver that first month.

Food.

If you have the time (and if you have away to get it to their house before they go home with the baby), bring them a home cooked meal for when they go home. Or arrange to have a meal delivered to their house.
