SIL had her baby

and it took four hours from "oops my water broke" to here is my baby. She and my bil (dh's brother) were on a walk and her water broke. They got the car drove the hospital and 4 hours later they have a healthy little baby girl. I wish that had been my experience so I'm slightly jealous but I am so excited for them and happy that her labor was fast and everybody is healthy.

    Great news, congrats auntie!  I hope my birth story is exactly like that.

    Actually, if I'm hoping for stuff, I hope my baby accidentally slips out when I get out of bed one morning.  No labour.  *Sigh* if only.

    Ok crazy My SIL had her baby yesterday as well.. And also a crazy fast birth as OP said.  She went to the hospital by the time she had her epi, water broke and delivered within an hour and a half!  I told BIL I really want that for my birth!  She had the first boy of all my DH and siblings which is ironic because hes one of 9, (7boys 2 girls) and so far we have 7 girls and she just had boy number 1 and we have boy number 2 coming :-)  complete reversal!  So excited for you all and super excited to finally have a nephew!

    Wow! Congrats to all the new aunties!! My Sil had her baby fast too, but it was her 2nd via repeat CS :)
