Rose (something good from this past week): birthday shopping and winter clothes shopping was a lot of fun with H and O.

Thorn (something you'd like to forget about this week): O's birthday!! I'm so sad that she is almost 1! Can I please have 1 more month of her being a baby!!

Rose: I made a trial-run of R's tractor cake on Sunday for his actual birthday, and it turned out really well, even if the icing didn't really hold its shape like I'd hope. I can't wait to use actual store-bakery icing on his cake for his party and see how it turns out.
Bud: I'm looking forward to tomorrow and this weekend! Tomorrow will be the first time in three years that DH and I have been under the same roof on my birthday. Last year, he was in Mississippi and the year before, he was in Missouri, both times away with the military. Since DH has drill on Saturday and Sunday, I'm going to my parents' house to visit since my uncle from Germany is coming in on Saturday.
Thorn: I'd like to forget about R's shots at his 1 year appointment on Tuesday. They gave him 6 immunizations... at the same appointment. It makes my heart hurt to see him crying like that, even though I know getting shots is much preferrable to getting sick.
So there's this boy. He kinda stole my heart. He calls me "Mom"

Rose: H got his new work car. It's not technically ours but it's still fun to have a brand new car. (especially since we're not paying for it!) Plus, I finally got clearance so I can drive it.
Bud: We're going home tomorrow for the weekend! It'll be a short trip but we get to celebrate our niece turning 1. I'm so excited.
Thorn: Packing. Ugh.
Rose - We had a really great family and friends weekend. It was relaxing and very much what I needed.
Bud - Looking forward to the party, but there is soooo much to do beforehand.
Thorn - DH and I arguing way more than we ever have before.
R-We had a great Labor Day with my family. We had a cookout at the lake and got on my brothers' boat and went tubing.
B-Looking forward to DH having 4 days off (starting today) and hopefully being able to relax this weekend.
T-I can't seem to shake this cold. It's a little better but I was feeling kinda crappy Monday night.
Rose: DH and I have been getting along so well, it's like back to when we first started dating...
Bud: My mom is coming tomorrow, we have plans all weekend of fun stuff!
Thorn: I'm transitioning Kaiden to his own bed and he's not happy about it. Both kids were up all night!
