I have the "critter" ice pack from Target but I really don't think it does a good job at keeping my daughter's lunch cold. Do you have one to rec?
On the flip side, I would like a thermos to send pasta and other items that really keeps things warms. Any recs on thermoses that really work?
Lastly, dd#1 needs a 2 compartment lunch box- one compartment for lunch and one for snack.... and I would like it to be personalized. I found some on the 'net a few weeks ago but can't seem to remember the site. TIA!!!!

We have several of these and I've been impressed. They're still mostly frozen when I pick up DD after school.
For the hot containers, I use a Thermos Funtainer container that I bought at Target. It also works well. You preheat it with boiling water, empty, put in hot food and it really does stay warm for quite a few hours. My DD took leftover spaghetti & meatballs in hers today. I also have a PBK insulated container, but she hasn't used it yet.
I haven't seen a personalizable container with separate compartments, but I have purchased a lot of small snack-size boxes from allthingsforsale.com and they work well. We also have the Sassy container below, but the compartments are equally sized.
