Although, because HCG levels do sky rocket higher with a multiple pregnancy then in a singlton, it does cause more intense symptoms....which can cause earlier symptoms. My Mom had 3 single 1 twin, and girlfriend has twins....

No, HCG does not 'skyrocket' with twins. My levels were exactly on track for a singleton pregnancy based on the betabase and really, the difference between twins and singles on betabase isn't hugely different.

Humm, interesting... my info came from my friend which came from her specialist, (her levels were higher so they suspected it was even before they saw 2 sacs.) but guess everyone is diff!
I don't think so, but I guess I've never been pg with twins.
FWIW- my bff had twins and she had NO pregnancy symptoms. Ever! I was jealous. She had no morning sickness, sore boobs or anything. Every pg and person is different
Haha! This is amazing! Liar, Liar is my all time favorite movie.

I figured going to the "experts" was better than Google... hadn't realized so many people still act like they're in high school and was apparently naive in assuming I'd just get some simple "Yes" or "No" responses.

Oh relax...your question was right up there with asking if sex twice in one night could get you doubly pregnant. People are going to have fun with something like that.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I really don't understand the need to be such jerks. Why do you all act so superior? Do you get away with such rotten, unkind behavior in real life or is the internet the only place you act so poorly? People are entitled to ask questions. Being so unkind is very unnecessary.

Actually, people choose to ask questions. There is no inherent right to ask questions anywhere. People also choose to ask really dumb questions. If you post something like this then people have the ability to respond in any way they choose. Don't like the answers? No one is forcing you to stay.
I think its equally rotten to get your panties in a twist and call names, but that is just me. I believe that being such an overly sensitive wet blanket is unnecessary.

To the underlined part: Yes, I do, IRL and in the interwebz. It's called sarcasm, humor, and wit. People with a healthy sense of humor find it quite funny.
To the bolded : You are entitled to ask stupid questions. We are entitled to give responses in the manner we deem fit. YWIA!

If one of my best friends asked this question I would semi-laugh and say no. If they continued to insist they were right, yes, I'd get a little snippy. Don't ask a question if you aren't prepared to accept that you are wrong.

Yes!!! Definitely. I had a miscarriage 3 years ago & had pregnancy symptoms before I even had a missed period. I had extremely sore breasts & horrible nausea which I've heard doesn't happen till sometime after 6 weeks?? My OBGYN said the hightened symptoms were due to twins (which btw don't run on either side of our family). We have a 5 year old daughter & other than fatigue I never had any other symptoms so because of my experience, I do think twins double your symptoms.

Oh come on, grab a sense of humour and untwist your panties. If you have no sense of haha, then this board isn't really for you anyways.
