So I know that I have mentioned it on here before, but I have severe m/s and have been prescribed zofran. I have taken it for 2 days now and still can't keep much, if anything at all down. I don't know if it takes a while for the medication to really work, or if the zofran just doesn't work for me. I don't know how to tell if I am too dehydrated and need to be on an IV. I have an u/s on the 12th but don't see the nurse or doctor until the 18th.

Oh I am so sorry! Hyperesmesis is the WORST. I survived four hyperemesis pregnancies. The only way the medicine would help me was in the IV. So I had a pic line with a backpack for the IV I needed 24 hours a day.
Definitely call your doctor tomorrow. If you are feeling too weak, get to the ER for a few bags of fluids. It helps a ton.
Oh and water is the most nauseating drink when you are that sick so try different things but for some reason crushed ice helps. And try for teaspoon at a time.
Wish you weren't so sick. All of you. It is pure misery.
