I should have been taking notes when people have posted their fav iPhone/iPad apps for LOs. Any suggestions on ones I can download tonight? Free is best, but I don't mind paying if it's a great app and will keep G entertained.
And on another note, we're going on a 5 day vacation, and I feel like I've packed half the house in terms of G's toys, clothes, supplies, etc. Holy crap. I keep imagining us encountering a day where the weather is crummy and we're stuck indoors, and not having enough toys. So I kept packing more, and more, and more, and now it's a mountain. I'm either going to regret all the extra stuff, or thank my lucky stars.
Re: iPhone Apps (4-5 hour car ride tomorrow)
Nate is in love with the "Toddler Teasers, shapes" It has three different games on it and he loves it. It's my go-to thing when we are waiting in the car, like in the pharmacy drive-thru line.
Fisher Price has free apps, too. Those are Elliott's favorites.
This is Peakaboo zoo. My DD's favorite too. I just ask "wanta play peekaboo" and she sits right down and gets ready. Buy the full version. It's $1.99 and worth the repeat feature
B likes SoundTouch. We have the free version and he likes all the barnyard animals and the transportation page.
We also have the free version of Elmo ABCs (which only gives you letters A, B, and C). But he mainly likes that to watch the Elmo video clips.
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
Music Sparkles and Paint Sparkles are also good ones.
O loves Peek-A-Boo Barn and Peek-A-Boo Zoo. I agree with buying the full versions.
He also just loves to listen to music. I downloaded some toddler songs on my phone and he will listen to them and scroll through.
