havent done anything with my 2 year old

i feel awful.. the past few days, i havent done much with my DD. we went to target yesterday, and had a play date today for a few hours, but other than that - its been movies and playdoh. im too uncomfortable to do much more than that.... theres no way in hell that i could chase her around the playground.

anyone else?

    I'm also having trouble keeping up with my 2 year old.  We did quite a few art projects this past weekend and played outside in the yard instead of going to a park.  (I sat comfortably on the patio furniture while he played)

    DH & I are going to attempt to take him to the zoo this weekend, but I'm worried that I'll run out of energy after an hour and want to go home.  But I definitely wouldn't take DS alone.

    I'm just trying to find things to do to keep him entertained and doesn't require too much from me.  Though when he asked me to get on the floor and play with him, I ended up giving in and could barely get up afterwards!

    Don't feel bad, I am the same way.  We did make it to the park today but it was difficult to keep up.  My son literally ran around the park for 15 minutes straight and I had to follow him or he would have been out of sight.  I've been letting him watch a few more movies than normal and unfortunately I don't have many SAHM friends so we haven't had a play date in awhile. 

    He still seems happy and loves playing with his toys so that is good.  It is hard for me to keep up with him when we go somewhere because he has a tendency to run away from me.

    Yep. I have done anything in two days. Maybe I'll be productive tomorrow.

    My saving grace has been thant my 4 year old and 2 year old can entertain each other.  I feel like bad mommy on the couch, but I seriously could watch them play together all day.
