Here is a super simple pasta salad that is always a crowd-pleaser.  DH actually complains that I only ever make this for company.

    Summer Pasta Salad

Here is a SUPER easy chicken pot pie.  Anyone can make this!  Actually it is so easy that we call it Whore Pie Embarrassed

And here is another super simple bbq pork recipe.  This is another crowd pleaser.  I actually have friends request that I make this for parties.

I also have a few more listed on my blog, under Recipes from the Redhead.

I am cracking up @ that name. I can hear DH "Honey, can we have Whore Pie for dinner"

  • I have two different tuna dishes that are super easy... (we love tuna). I don't have links for either recipe, but whatever.

The first is a more classic tuna and noodles. Boil some egg noodles, then toss in some cream of mushroom soup, vegetables (we tend to use broccoli, mushrooms, and onions, or whatever bag of frozen veggies is cheap). Then just add some tuna. Super easy. We put hot sauce and lemon juice in it too. We eat it as a soup so it's not a true casserole, but essentially it is.

The other is even easier. Prepare a ramen noodle (chicken one tastes best!) add a can of tuna, the flavor packet and a bunch of cheese.

No, these are not healthy. Yes, we love tuna fish.

  • These are 500% to die for:

I make a triple batch (sometimes quadruple) on a Saturday or Sunday and we eat on em for days and it's WONDERFUL.

You can also dip them in this:

or just find whatever excuse you can to eat this dressing. It's really really yummy.

  • 1. 15 Minute Smoked Sausage Jambalaya

    2. From my cooking blog that's going to HAVE to become active again real quick-like.

    3. No pic, but trust me, it's a HUGE hit. I've made it millions of times for different people (it's my signatur dish), and I have never once heard anything but praise for it. It's the one recipe people always ask me to make. And it's so dang simple. Leftovers taste even better.

Evan James was born 1/24/13 and matched with us 2/20/13. The LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!
  • We eat this once or twice a week a chopped salad.  Not sure why chopped tastes better but it does.  We use chicken, avocado, mixed greens finely chopped, egg, bacon, tomato and Gorgonzola cheese.  We toss it with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.  Pretty healthy and very tasty.  Wish I took a picture because we just had this tonight.

  • I have not had a chance to post yet but oh man these look good!  I am hating my lactose intolerant body right now because those cream sauces and cheese look AMAZING!

I am bookmarking the jambalaya at least!
