Nancy James has arrived--PIP.

Nancy James was born on Saturday September 1 at 3:58pm.  She is 21in long and 6lbs 15oz.  She's just perfect!!

I went to the doc on Friday for my normal appt. and my BP was back up to levels my doc was concerned about, so she sent me to the hospital to have labs done and go from there.  Around 11pm they decided that we should go ahead with induction.  They started me on pitocin around the same time...I slept for most of the night.  By 8am I was at 4cm and my doc came in and broke my water.  I got my epidural around 12pm, took another nap, then at 3pm the nurse checked me and I was at 9.5cm, so she had me do a practice push, saw her head and called the doc.  Doc arrived at 345, and Nancy was born at 3:58pm!  2 pushes, no tears, no nothing!  Easiest labor ever!

Recovery has been a piece of cake so far, so I'm extremely thankful for that as well. BFing is challenging--my milk came in and I think my breasts weigh more than the baby, so that was a surprise to me but it's a work in progress.

Just wanted to share our good news!!
